Art Deco Quartet is a Bloomington, IN based pianoless quartet modeled after Ornette Coleman's bands from the 1950s to 1960s, with a coloristic and emotional palette reminiscent of 1960s ESP Disk releases.  The band combines post bop, freebop, avant garde, and structured free improvisations by trumpeter David Miller with free leaning gems of the repertoire, including tunes by Ornette Coleman, Carla Bley, Albert Ayler, Sonny Rollins, Max Roach, Grachan Moncur III, Duke Ellington, 
Keith Jarrett, and others.
